The Chicago Police Department is considering a major change in policy regarding the use of deadly force.
The department is looking at allowing police officers to fire their guns under circumstances where they previously could not.
The new policy, from police Supt. Jody Weis and confirmed by WBBM Newsradio 780 Wednesday morning, would allow police officers to shoot at fleeing vehicles if the driver or passengers are suspected of committing a felony.

A: here is a link to a site that I found that tells you what the names mean. There are two reasons you hear this. One is when the police is telling the dispatcher a name to search. And I live in Chicago so I know. My dads friend is a cop and he shared some info with me. Two there are codes for the police officer. Also the following are what the codes mean.
Adam: Morning shift
Charlie: Day shift
Charlie: Captain
David: Detective
Frank: Felony Investigation
Paul: Patrol
Sam: Sergeant

Many officers tried protesting. I for one am glad this is happening, ive been yanked off the street several times and been searched for no reason. Ive had cops search my car without my consent. And ive been pulled for no apperant reason. Do you think cameras should be mounted inside jail cells?
